Color (EN) :

P.diadema is the most colorful of the sifakas.The face is lack | and forehead | chin | and cheeks(and usually extending to behind teh ears) are white.Somes populations have darker face with the white restricted to forehead and chin.The crown of the head is black and this coloration extends posteriorly | forming a cape over the shoulders and upper part of the back that grades into white on the back and sides.The chest is white or gray | and the arms and legs are bright yellow/orange.The hands and feet are black and the tail is white.Some individuals have a brown or orange pygal patch above the base of the tail

le manteau est long et soyeux | le front | les joues et la gorge sont blancs | il porte une couronne noire qui peut descendre jusqu'à la nuque | le museau est court | la face qui peut aller du gris foncé au noir est glabre | les yeux sont marron orangé | les épaules et la partie supérieur du dos sont gris ardoise | le bas du dos etant plus clair soit gris argenté | les flancs et la queue sont gris pâle à blancs et la base de laqueue est souvent jaune doré | les bras et les jambes sont jaune doré à orange | les mains et les pieds sont noirs | le pelage ventral est typiquement blanc à gris pâle | le mâle possède une grosse glande cutanée marron orangé au milieu de la gorge et on pense que la tache périanale de même couleur est également glandulaire
